According to data from market research firm Pharmatrac, the top three best-selling medicines in the pharmaceutical market are the antibiotic Augmentin, with monthly sales of Rs 85 crore, Eli Lilly’s weight loss drug Mounjaro, with Rs 80 crore in monthly sales, and the anti-diabetic therapy Mixtard, generating Rs 75-80 crore in monthly sales.

The organized pharma retail market recorded total sales of over Rs 20,000 crore in September, reflecting a 7.3% growth.
