National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme is a scheme by the Government of India to promote apprenticeship training in the country.
The objective of NAPS is to increase the engagement of apprentices, support establishments and promote skilling.
Launched in August 2016, the scheme provides financial incentives to establishments that engage apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
