There is a funny story behind the official name the companies are registered under. After the MCA rejected the names Finception Private Limited and Acche Din Private Limited, the exasperated founders christened the venture Tacterial Consulting Private Limited. The muse? Not lofty ambition, but the fact that one founder was down with a bacterial infection.

Finshots, initially called Finception, commenced operations in 2019 with an objective to simplify financial news.
In January 2021, Finshots diversified from content to advisory, and Ditto was born.
